Finally!

Well I have finally bought a house with a 2 car garage.. I moved her in yesterday, and after all the years she has been sitting, I can finally start on the build!! Now granted its going to be a couple of months before I can really start on her (probably will be more like mid winter, but hey, I am an optimist!); buying the house really sucked every penny I had in savings.. I need to rebuild that before I can really consider spending any coin on her..

However, I can afford a box of 80 grit DA paper to begin sanding off the 41 year old paint, and I can start tearing her apart... Part of me really did not want to do a frame off restoration, but she really needs it.. The nice part is that the biggest thing I have to deal with is rot! There are no collisions to deal with.. All the needed body work is well within my skill set..

Due to limited funds for the next year or so, I am thinking about steering away from doing a frame off... Just rebuilding her a little at a time as funds allow.. The first hurdle I need to get past is the engine.. Or the lack thereof.. I got a 350 4 bolt main awhile back, I’m hoping I can tear it down and just freshen her up with rings and bearings.. I guess time will tell!

Here is a quick photo of her just after pushing her into the garage.
